I have a '83 633 CSI, I have found that the OBC does not work. I heard that their was a fuse and a couple of relays under the instrument cluster to check. I don't see the fuses, does anyone know where these are? Thanks, Nick.

there is a light bar that illuminates the display.shine a flashlight on the display and if you can see even the slightest readout on the display,it's probably the lightbar.no fun to replace, the console has to come out.

Thanks for your reply, I have what I think is OBC 1. With this, I have found that their is a single bulb that goes in that I did repalce and that made the buttons light up, but still did not help the display. I will try the flashlight thing and see what happens with that. Thanks again.

mine also has the single bulb for the buttons, the lightbar is up on the side and is colored white, slides in behind the display.pull it out with a pair of needle nose pliers and there are 2 6volt bulbs inside it.if one burns out the other will not light.new the assy is around $25,and if your good soldering you can get 2 6volt bulbs at radio shack much cheaper and repair it yourself.
