hey guys...
last year there was a really successful meet last janurary where we drove from montvale NJ to 7 lakes drive in Harrimen State Park (lower NY State)
i wanted to see if we could get something simmilar to this...
i would try to have it in middle december on a saturday morning.. say we meet in mahwah NJ (about a 15 minute drive to the park going the speed limit) at 9:30 or 10... we stay there till around 11 and then move to harrimen state park, and stay there for as long as anyone wanted, go drive on some of the roads there, for you cali guys there not as great as out ther (ooo good god iloved highway 1) but these are some of the nicest roads over here... and then i would get resurvations at a resturant on route 17 Fridays Chilies Hoolihans what ever at 2:30 or 3 and then we could part ways from there. ill come back with more info for now..
im just checkin on interest.
ill be setting up a web page for this in a few days to put more detailed info and to have it more centuralzied instead of having it span over 5 or 6 diffrent forums

Joe, it all depends on what day it is, date wise....let me know when you plan on doing it...

dec 9t, 15, or 22nd.. most likly ill be shooting for the 15th

However I would advise doing this ASAP since the weather is very unpredictable and would suck if we drove to a park only to be shut out by bad weather.

I think 12/9 would be the best and to possibly have it within 15-30min from a mall parking garage so we could all chill at one of the top levels if there is bad weather.

The earlier the better for me... I'll be leaving the country sometime in the middle, so I may not be able to get to anything after the middle of the middle of the month. I'd be up for anything earlier in Dec. though.
