The Carbon Fiber AC Schnitzer replica front splitter came in a few days after the CF CSL rep rear diffuser. The diffuser went on in less than an hour with just me working on it.

This took about 3 hours with my and my buddy Aeron, including about 30 minutes of breaks and absolutely no prior splitter install knowledge or instructions. It really wasnt that bad and if anyone needs any tips on the install feel free to PM me, if this is something that alot of people would like a DIY on, I can take a crack at it and take some pictures to make one...?

I pretty much just took a huge risk and bought it off of ebay like the csl rear diffuser. Its not 100% carbon fiber, just the part that shows, the rest is fiberglass. but intsalled you can't tell.

The splitter fit ok, its actually about 1.5 cm too short on the passenger side and does not sit flush with the wheel well but it was ok for me (the drivers side was perfect), and the pre-drilled holes are not drilled perfectly. It required some re-drilling of the carbon fiber and fiberglass. It also requires 12 holes to be drilled into your front bumper so if you are not comfortable with that or with using a high rpm drill then do not attempt this. (i actually messed up one of the aluminum brackets in the front since the pre-drilled holes on the splitter were not perfectly even. Therefore my measurements were off, but we fixed it and you can't tell unless your up close and looking for it.) Other than that it came out great and is so secure the bumper will come off of the car before the splitter comes off of the bumper, I am not kidding.

Total Price after installing was $343.99 for bumper + $3.00 for longer bolts/nuts and lock washers for the side brackets. the kit includes all 1.5 inch bolts that are used for everything so that there is no confusion, but the side bracket bolts closest to the front need to be 2 inches in order to get all the way inside the bumper in order to be secured. So call it $350 installed.

I also installed some race pedals a while ago and never posted anything on it. They are from Bimmian and they provide an extra inch on the left side of the Gas pedal to assist with Heel-Toe shifting and it really makes it alot easier, almost too easy. Sometimes i find myself pressing the gas while braking, but only when i am wearing big shoes. They also required drilling, but they came with instructions. Took about 1 hour by myself. Only issue was the brake pedal is metal where the clutch and gas are plastic so drilling through that was no picnic but i got through it fine.

Anyway, here are some pics...

So if enough people ask or pm for info, I will try to create a DIY Paper for the CF ACS Replica Front Splitter Install...

If you have an SMG, you should get the left-foot brake pedal. is a huge extanded brake that allows you to use your left foot to brake while your right foot is on the gas and you use the paddles to shift. It focuses on making the driver faster and can make a huge difference on the track.

cool. wanna get it for my upcoming october birthday? =)

btw i still shift w/ the shifter b/c i cant get uesd to it. i drive better w/ 1 hand on the steering wheel. tested both on the track and my lap time was faster traditionally.... thats just because of my audi, a 6spd manual which had A LOT of track time.

I drive a 6spd so i understand the need for using the stick, but the brake pedal should definately help lap times once you get used to it, I'm not sure what it is like during normal street driving. If you have to use your left foot or if you can bring your right foot over for regular driving.
