My daughter is starting college and, with the real estate market the way it is in California, I need to sell my '97 840 Ci. :(
Can someone recommend a website or other media where I can get some knowlegable people to look at this car?
I paid $30,000 for it when it had only 12,838 original miles on it. That was December of 2005. It now has 16,002 miles on it.
Since I purchased it, I have added the Dinan engine and tranny chips, an Eisenmann race cat-back, refurbished the Hamann HM2 wheels, installed an Xtant X603 Stereo amplifier, Morel Elates Speakers up front, Memphis M Class 12" subwoofer in custom box (which also houses the amp), Dynamat in the doors and a Clarion DXZ745MP head unit.
The car is lowered by a Hamann sports suspension and has a Hamann rear wing. I also installed an 850 CSi front air dam.
I have retained all the oringinal parts except the exhaust.
Before I took possesion, the previous owner replaced the batteries and the catalytic converters. Since I have owned it, I have replaced the fuel filter and its mounting 'harness'. I suspected the heater valve was stuck open due to heat issues so I had the dealer install a new water valve after they confirmed that the valve was stuck.
As far as I can tell, everything else seems to be working fine.
Any advice as to where I can post this vehicle would be appreciated.
