Is it me or does the e90 sedan looks more aggresive then the coupe?

I think this new M3 is going to wind up being a small M6 in the end with mild fender flares.

Front bumper looks just like the M6 and personally I have seen an M6 up close and the front bumper could DEF be more aggessive

Actually check out these pics, the fenders look nice and big (more flared than M6).

I think lighting must have a lot to do with how the fenders look and also wheels make a difference

the new m3 is lookin hot IMO. It wll be more "fluid" than these protos- and it looks like they have a fancy hood scoop or something on the hood under that tarp.

Since it is clear no one besides BMW has seen the fully-fledged, non-covered-up, clean, marketable and mass-produced version of the car, why don't we all stop speculating and just WAIT till we have more substantial evidence upon which to base our claims that this car is the "ugliest M EVER," or something to the contrary. No, wait, that would be too rational.

Ya except that this does look very close to what it will in the end.
I saw pictures of the M5 before it came out and it looked basically the same, UGLY!

Seriously it started going downhill in the looks department when the 7 series came out.

The car will perform, just like the M5 it will be badass, just not so good looking.

Yeah and where are cool Aston Martin racing stripes that have graced the M3 since 1996? They made the M3 look like an Aston Martin (200k+ car) for a lot less money! Bad move on BMW to get rid of the cool Aston Martin arrows on each side. It looks just like every other 3 series. Lame!

ive lost hope in the new m3- lol if they could just fix the front bumper and rear tail lights- itd be a keeper- but then again ive said it's a car that you'd need to see in person to truly appreciate :evil2

wow, if that truely is the front bumper/air dam they go with, i will literally vomit. That is absolutely hideous, there is no way they would make a design that polarizing for a car that popular. Here's hoping that was just to fool/scare people.

It's nowhere near as good looking as the E46. It's just dull. The side is just one big bubbly piece of steel with no crisp lines. The rear taillights are from an Acura.

It's a good photoshop but what people tend to forget is that is not how you would want the E92 M3 to look like out of the box - nor would it be marketable if it came like that. It only will really appeal to the enthusiast/modders market with those kind of looks. To get that car looking stock you would have to effectively UN-modify it. lol. I think rather that photo shop would hopefully show the potential of the new E92 M3 for a modder.

What Acura? I don't see it.

Funny how the test driver is wearing a helmet on public roads

The front bumper looks WACK!

Wow, what a shame. I highly suspect that this car will get an early "mid-life refreshing" of some sort . . . or die a quick death due to poor sales.

That is one disgusting car...like a 7 series from behind
if that were an M7 I'd be ok but as for an M3 that is horrific
Yea bmw needs to hire the guy that did the chop. From what I hear the previous designer quit and they hired an american for the 2006 line up of bmws

Wow, you guys need to give it a rest already. I think its pretty clear that this isnt the final production look for the car. otherwise it wouldnt have krinkled 1/32 inch thick metal over the hood cut out over the engine.

Give BMW a chance to show you the production car before you pass judgement. You're as bad as Ford fans that troll GMinsidenews.com

I didn't like the new 3 sedan at first but now i see the modding potential.
it'll grow on us all.

i cant wait till the production model comes out and everyones biting their tongues. this is BMW's most important car, they're NOT gona F it up! remember how ugly the E46 M3 spyshots looked. I saw some somewhere, I'll hopefully find them and post them up.
