hey guys , im calling for another meet. we should try to do a couple every month atleast! dont have a time or place yet but the last 1 turned out descent. lets shoot for 30 cars this time. what do u guys think?

Hey this time I have checked the calendar and I have Saturday July 29th available.

I know the Mills location was a bit crowded but almost anywhere that is worth going on Saturday night is. Since we were in the NE for the first one how about a meet at the new mall off 77 and Harris or in Pineville at the mall there. Another possibility is the old Kmart parking lot in Matthews on Independence Blvd. The malls will be a bit more crowded than an abandoned store parking lot though all three places have food within a short driving distance. SOs might be more inclined to give passes if you can drop them at the mall to shop while you hang out. Anyway those are my ideas. Anyone else up for something on the 29th?

After introductions, motor and wheel ogling and the such we will probably head to get something to eat. Or order a pizza or something depending on the number of people we have. It will run until we get tired of each other or SOs start calling whichever comes first.

If this comes off with success, and I think it will, I will suggest that there start being a meet like this every two weeks with it alternating between saturday nights and sunday lunches. That way people that have to work saturday nights will have a chance to hang at the Sunday gatherings. Service industry types will appreciate the Sunday thing. The location will roll around the city in a north, south, east, west kind of thing to make it closer to everyone at some point.

Hooter is right off of 485 and south blvd. They moved from the Tyvola and South blvd intersection. The shopping center has a large parking lot that is always vacant.

It was a suggestion. There are a number of restaurants around there also.

Sidenote - Anyone know a younger guy with a 1996 Technoviolet M3 (Momo Seats, E46 Lip Spoiler, Schrick Cams, Dinan Stage II, etc..)?? I just happe to see it the other day....and would like to see it again...It's my old car and thought it would be cool to see it around.

Well the new location for hooters would make it seem like an option but I have not been there so I cant picture it. Plus I wonder what their parking lot looks like on Saturday. I really like their wings though so that may be where we go to eat. But again depends on how many people show up. It is a lot harder to get a group of 15+ in anyplace popular on a Sat. night and have a hope of keeping together. If it is only 8 or so then anyplace is fine. It will depend on turnout.

Nitin I will be bringing the E36 seat and all. My wife just showed me some pics she took on Sun. during the last session. I spotted her at the bridge and on the next lap looked up and waved(don't try this at home kids). She cought it perfectly and I laughed my tail off when I saw it. Nothing like getting set up for one of the fastest/hardest corners at RA and taking time to pose for the camera:D It is a 3 meg picture but I will downsize it and send it to ya.

We will not be in the Hooters parking lot. We will be behind Hooters in a large parking area to meet. So the parking will not be bad.

All right...all right Hooters it is. I used the Meck county tax system to look at an aerial photo and there is plenty of parking behind hooters. It is in the front parking lot of the strip mall just to the north of 485 at South Blvd. If you get off of 485 at south blvd. and head north you will take the first right into the shopping center. Chick-fil-a will be to your immediate right. Hooters is the next resturaunt in line behind chick-fil-a. We will meet at 6 PM Saturday July 29th in the big parking lot behind Hooters. Should be easy to find.
