it was tuned for:

AA-tuned Chip for the 11-lb pulley, aquamist, 3.5 hfm.

I gave AA a call to see if they can put this in my OBD II dme and they said they couldn't because of EWS.

They told me the only chip that they offer is for:

11lb, 3.5 hfm, m50 manifold, and 42# injectors or also with cams. They said Aquamist does not matter because its independent with the tuning.

Since your car is a OBD I, you do not have EWS so this will work for you. Im also including an extra DME that is socketed.

im not sure if yours is obd I but if you do have obd ii, you need to change ews onto the extra dme i will give you because the chip is tuned for that dme.

How could it be tuned for that? The 28's max out at 9psi?

AA told me they dont tune the chips based on only 11psi and aquamist. If you want tuning for the vortech kit, they only tune for the 11psi with 42# injectors, 3.5 hfm.

When I bought the kit, the injectors are either 38# or 28#, but when I compared it to my friends dinan's injectors, they are very similar. The only difference is that the dinan's part number end with AA and mine ends with BB.

So the chip comes with a obd1 dme? If so, which dme 413, 506? If not, which dme is the chip made for? To clarify, the chip is to be used with a euro 3.5in MAF, 42lb injectors, and is good to 11 psi. Correct?

nope, it comes with a obd ii dme which is made from siemens. The car is tuned for 11 psi correct but im not sure about the injectors and the MAF. Im pretty sure those needs to be changed out in order to produce the most HP.

so if my car is obd2 with a vortech blower at 11 psi this would work? what if I am running less psi...still would work right? just wouldn't be able to use it to its full potential...

Correct, If you get this tuning make sure you get the right pulley inorder to hit 11psi. With stock dinan parts, and the right pulley it pulled 321 WHP.

This sure sounds like it came out of my old car. 96 M3, OBD2, stock HFM, stock manifold, Dinan Supercharger kit with Vortech V2SQ, 11psi, Aquamist, UUC Exhaust, and the car made 321 hp with very conservative AFR's. If you have the receipts, you should have the dyno sheets. Dyno 001 below is 11psi on stock tuning and 003 is with the AA tuning. Gain of 36hp from tuning alone. Fuel injectors were whatever came with the Dinan kit.

Good luck with the sale and I hope this helps.

To the OP, I'm curious how you came across this stuff. Can you send me a PM with the info?

Mike ..what are you trying to do?

You CANNOT sell your 28F200 chip to someone with an OBD1 car.....

An OBD1 car uses a M27C512 chip which is very different than a 28F200 chip..
Your chip WILL NOT work in a 413 or a 506 DME.....

In fact..your 28F200 chip will NOT work in anyone elses car either.....EWS..
Unless you sell them your DME also....

Why are you selling the AA chip anyway? That chip is great..is that the chip you bought from me?

And if not, AA could certainly make that OBD2 chip work in another OBD2 DME..They woud just need the chip and the DME you wanted to put it in....When AA puts tuning in any car, they get the DME...read the EWS and make the chip to work with that particular DME...so what would be different if you HAD an AA chip , and sent them a different DME or a backup DME..

You are making no sense at all, and giving EXTREMELY inaccurate info out to potential buyers......

Sorry I am pissing on your parade..but someone is going to buy something that is not going to work on their car, if I do not say something...

I'm OBD2, so this comes with the DME along with the AA chip? All I need is to go to the dealer for the EWS thing in order to work on my car, correct? thanks...

This post was a while ago, but I just wanted to clarify.

The AA chip was not the one I bought, it came with the kit that I bought from someone else. The chip and the DME was included. When I meant AA tuned chip, I meant the chip and the DME. If it still doesnt work, then ignore this post...
