Well, even though it sounds like bs, if taken this way, hopefully that will keep the track alive.

As long as they stick to their long-range plan, which seems to have the track as a part of it, things should be okay.

Awesome. Keep Road Atlanta alive.

Being born and raised in Hall County I can tell you that almost everyone there has a love for that track and Lanier Speedway as well. I don't see it going anywhere. Personally I would love to live beside it, could you imagine watching Speed out on your back porch and hearing the Petit? That would be cool!

The noise ends early enough. The houses would be great for someone who races at RA frequently. If you break something there would be no hour drive home for a broken part.

I would say if it were Don Panoz buying the ground, trying to rezone it, and marketing it as a "racer, track rat, and motorsport fan friendly housing development," it would fly a little better. :buttrock Hell, I might even be tempted...I've slept a few hours at the Daytona 24 in a RV less than 30 feet from active asphalt before. :buttrock
