Just curious what you guys think.
My guess would be 300,000$ a year, but I could be WAY off.

View Full Version : What would you imagine Global Imports annual marketing budget to be? scorch268 07-10-2006, 10:00 AM Just curious what you guys think. BMW. :cool But seriously, BMW gives dealerships a certain advertising budget per car, I would imagine you could find that out. scorch268 07-10-2006, 10:34 AM More than you can afford, pal... BMW. :cool But seriously, BMW gives dealerships a certain advertising budget per car, I would imagine you could find that out. Interesting, it looks like Sonic Automotive Inc owns them. I checked their financials, but there is nothing specific regarding an allocated amount per car. I would think it is dependent upon the dealer or the local market, but who knows? Doesn't someone here work for global? G. P. Burdell 07-10-2006, 10:35 AM Colin in parts used to post here under the screen name GLOBALGUY, but he left Global months ago. Boozie D. Clown 07-10-2006, 10:40 AM Just curious what you guys think. My guess would be 300,000$ a year, but I could be WAY off. They spend way more than that in just AJC ads. Car dealers are BIG BUSINESS for newspaper and radio medias. I looked into an ad in the AJC a while back and it was rediculous:eyecrazy . I forget the exact amount, but I remeber thinking they were high (Pun definately intended!):stickoutt Matt 07-10-2006, 10:42 AM Interesting, it looks like Sonic Automotive Inc owns them. Doesn't someone here work for global? No, it's dependent on BMW. They give us an advertising budget per bike. I don't know what they base that on. bcart1991 07-10-2006, 11:01 AM I know those interstate billboards can't be cheap... JJ Byzanz 07-10-2006, 11:16 AM I'll ask. M3Bill 07-10-2006, 11:40 AM Virtually all car dealerships allot their marketing budget on a per car basis...domestic car dealerships are usually $400-500 per car, if I remember correctly. scorch268 07-10-2006, 11:58 AM interesting. I currently own the exculsive rights to advertise within the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (more to the point, the ungodly-wealthy white audience members) and was wondering if this was something Global would have the pockets for. Why I'm posting this on a BMW forum, who knows? M3Bill 07-10-2006, 12:20 PM interesting.
