what are you running, whats the highest you can safely run on 91 octane?thanks

i am running around 11.3:1 on 92 octaine with an iigomotive "cali" 2.5 chip. It still knocks a touch, so i'll be going to a different EMS shortly to solve the problem.

i had 13:1 but i removed those pistons because they were illegal so i still have them, but we needed to run 110.

i think 11.5:1 is about as high as your gonna get using 93.

for 91 i probably wouldnt go higher than 11:1

do e30 m3's have knock sensors?

No knock sensors on E30 M3's. Although, I have seen with MegaSquirt (aftermarket engine management system), you can make your own knock sensor - Pretty cool stuff.

Have used 93 but car prefers 100 octane.
