Let's just say they are asking 200 for a full bottom end to a non-vanos M50. I believe the only thing it doesn't come with is a oil pan, which is what I got anyway. Anyone have any experience with them? They are also selling a S50 bottom end with no harmonic balancer, and not sure about a crankshaft, but it's already bored to the 86mm instead of the 84mm. Do you think I should just grab the M50 and get it bored out to 86mm and grab the pistons from the S50 block? Anyway, any experience with Bimmers South would be nice to know before I head over there to check out the blocks.

wow, they are still around? After watching someone from BS buy a few wrecked cars at auction for retail, I didnt think they would last long.

Do not do business with Bimmers South! They installed a new clutch/flywheel for me a couple of years ago, screwed it up to the point the car was almost undriveable, and then refused to refund my labor money. I ended up taking the car tho Strictly German for Bobby to fix their mess, and then filed a chargeback through AMEX. Those bastards would still have my money if I had not used my AMEX card.

That is their repair department which have never heard or dealt with. When it comes to parts they are fair.
