Wiseguy ON 07-08-2006, 12:58 AM So I'm sitting shotgun with Ron, who normally is just SUCH a conservative driver and we're going north on the Garden State Parkway today.
Apparently he must have some like.. I dunno, hair drier on his car or something because it goes woosh.
Anyhow, this white Evo 8 pulls up behind us and he's busy playing with his BOV and, one thing leads to another and we're lining up while cruising through the beautiful town of Irvington.
OK.. line up, 3rd honk.. off the go. In what's a space of perhaps 20 car lengths, Ron catches the Evo (He started in 3rd at maybe 50) as the Evo got a jump on him, passes the Evo, and pulls in front of the Evo.
All within like.. maybe 20 car lengths and I am being DAMN generous.
Ron the Babboon Slayer > Guy in White Evo.
Guy in Evo pulls up next to us after all is said and done and says "How much HP does that thing have????" in shock and awe.

he came running up from behind us popping his throttle begging to run, probably thinking that we'd just be another notch on his roster of kills.......not this car. :evil2
I wonder if he's posting the slaughter on a local evo form? His car did look pimp and sounded gret.

And if he's running Stage II TT kit on an M52B32, then he's probably in the 400-430 rwhp range.

If I'm reading your post right, there was no euro S52. you may be thinking of the S50B32/S50B30/S50USB30

I believe you are right about there not being a euro s52 it is a s50b32.

themadhatter 07-09-2006, 01:38 PM the 3.2L US M3 motor is a S52B32, the only S52 motor produced. yes it's basically a worked M52 with 3.2L of displacement but it was designated with an 'S' engine code.
the S52 is obd-II along with the M52 motors. the S50, US and Euro are all obd-I.
