This month's drive should be a lot of fun. We're doing another evening drive to keep out of the insane July heat. The route takes us on everyone's favorite road - Lime Creek. From there we head North on curvey roads, eventually ending at Chantals (http://www.chantalsbistro.com/index.htm)in Georgetown for dinner. There we'll have reserved parking and seating to go with a great dinner.

Is anyone from Houston going? I'd love to make it out, but I don't know anyone else and I'd hate to drive to Austin by myself.

I have not been on one of these drives either, and have really just been lurking this board. I hope to be able to make it to this one and show y'all what a REAL M3 looks like. ;-)

The drive is still on. I was talking about the monthly meets. We normaly have a monthly meet outside of these drives.

I'm going to do my best to make it and show you what a mediocre driver looks like in a bone stock m3/4.

The 22nd is the only weekend I don't have something to do. :)

I got a call last night form my sister and a friend of ours is shipping out for boot camp on the 27th. So we are all throwing him a party.

How many cars show up for these drives?

It changes from time to time. Its open to all cars that can keep up. I think one time we had as many as 50 but at the last one I want to think there was 25-30.

OK, car is running well and I see no reason that my wife and I won't be able to make it. I tore out (by accident) some wiring under the car, but it doesn't seem to have hurt it. :) I just had to rewire my HIDs a bit and I won't have fogs.

still debating on whether or not to go. ill be in town either way tho...hmmm

Sounds like fun, I wish I could make it. I'm leaving for Colorado tomorrow morning for a family vacation. I'll keep an eye out for the next one.

That sucks, you sure that it's your fuel pump? They only take like 10-15 minutes to change to change if you can find one.

Yep, then pull it out and test it to see if it's bad. It's under your rear seat on the passenger side.

I didn't get to go. I broke my fan and a cooling hose. By the time I fixed my wife nixed the fun for the day.

Cancelled because of threatening rain. About 30 cars showed up anyway, and most of us drove out to Detours on 620 for a brew and bite to eat.

I was on my way up 35 and ran into a severe thunderstorm and was making poor time plus I left late and thought I could make up the time with speed. Needless to say CAI does not fair well with agua. I turned around and did some crazy drifting all the way back home.
