mine is a manual,swap needs to done on the son's.i have 2 good electronic transmissions if some one wants to work out a deal.both work great.one in the car and a spare i got from a running car a couple of weeks ago.
it's the 4HP22EH.otherwise,i need to start aquiring all parts needed for the swap,trans,driveshaft,pedal assy,bascially everything.

i hear ya.if you don't have to drive in constant stop and go traffic,there's no need for an automatic.my 1st traffic light is 6 miles away,then 3 miles to the next one.the only time i wish for an auto is when i get stuck in louisville rush hour traffic.
i feel a bimmer should have a stick.i converted an old e30 over a few years back with a 4:10 lsd,totally transformed the 3.wife still thinks i did it on purpose to keep her out of it.she wont/refuses to drive a manual.oh well,i guess IT IS my car.
