Go to Mexico. Your loose grasp of the English language will be less debilitating.
Cwaters 07-07-2006, 02:32 PM you could move to New-Mexico... it's like Mexico, but new :)

The population, meanwhile, is more and more Mexican with every passing minute. :rolleyes

yes, it is really hard to get around with out one, esp when all your friends dont drive either.

As one who has spent significant amounts of time in a third-world country, let me assure you that even without a car, you are far and away better off toughing it out here.
If you think life is rough in this country simply because you don't have a car, you'd be in for a very rude shock indeed when you find yourself dropped into a country - and culture - that has very little to do with your own, and where you have few friendly or supportive native contacts. Add to that the extreme poverty and lack of resources south of the border, and it will only be worse.
If your folks have the good sense not to fall over themselves to grant your every whim on an expensive item like a car, I seriously doubt they're going to give you the money to survive, never mind live well, in a foreign country.

you're fucked
Tell us how you really feel.:D
Why the hell would you hang out on a BMW forum if you can't drive.
That's like pouring salt in your own wounds.

dos Santos 07-08-2006, 07:11 PM You could go to school in paris/barcelona and have a good time. At least you'll be getting a degree while you're waiting to turn 21 instead of just wasting your time.
American University has several outside locations.
They have one in Dubai. Go there and take nice pics of all the hawt cars for us.

I like to refer to this place as 'North' Mexico.
The truth? Move to Europe, then
change your name to something cool, like Bret or Barry.
Become an asassin.
Your only other option is to gain diplomatic immunity.
I want this last one. :alright I would go to town. ;)
I am in the same boat as you, but I only have a year off.
(Unless someone adds up my 3 reckless drivings and gives me a 5 yr suspension.):help
