it must be a beast, but sad to see it was in a E30 (no offense to E30 owners-matt.) It would have been better if it was in a E36.

Same. For all the money they spent on the engine and fabrication, they could have stuck in an M50 and turbo'ed it to around 500rwhp and then added reinforcements all over the car. Hell, they probably could have dropped in an S38B36 for the same amount. They call it their track car, but it won't even fall into any competitive class without atleast dropping another 20 grand into it. What a waste of money. :rolleyes

He doesn't even know what alot of his parts are from.
I wanted to tell him he should have replaced the exhaust posts... but something held me back.

You do have to give him props for what he does.
I mean, setting up an E46/4 with Supercharged S54 SMG? That's a pretty nice swap.
But this car, requiring so much more work, still is being done quite nicely. He's doing it pretty fast too.
Must be nice to have all of those "new" bimmer junkyards over there,
along with the yuppies to crash thier '03 Comp. packages.

Sounds like fun to me.

S38B36 and definately a turbo. You need some more power to push around all that weight. ;)

That shit is tight, although i think he is doing it for the challege as opposed to the power he will get....looks like alot of fun..he definitely knows his stuff, and is pretty good at fabricating thingd to make it work, i think it will be awesome when completed

As you can tell he is not hurting for money, who buys a cedes as a school car? and then sells it and orders a 335i turbo. I think he enjoys the challenge of it.
