Restoration guide?

You can start out with Keith's site (he's on this board) :

http://www.my2002tii.com/

It is an invaluable resource for any 2002 owner.

If you want something in paper, you will like Mike McCartney's book

http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/1855204517/ref=sib_dp_pt/102-9411613-5550509#reader-link

The factory shop manual is also a great resource. It is available on CD new and can be found once in a while in its original printed form.

Thanks for the plug Harry!

MPOwer, welcome to the crew. Resto questions, just ask away, I'm here to help.

There is a table of contents to my site you can search on at:

Table Of Contents (http://www.my2002tii.com/toc.htm)

The book Harry mentions is a good primer on the subject, but not as hands on as you want. Jaymic is in the resto business, they're not going to give away all the secrets since they get paid to do it. Me, I'm just an experienced amateur not afraid to write it down when I was doing it.

Warm regards,

I second that. I've got all the books mentioned above including the factory service manual but it seems like I'm mainly doing upgrades and not just straight repairs so I rarely look at them. It seems like I'm looking more on the internet than anything for any reference or source material. Keith's site has some wonderful pics that show some good detail and far better than looking at some printed black and white blurry pics. :alright
