These rims are extemely light and weigh in at about 15 - 16 lbs each! I had the originals professionally paint stripped and the lips polished. Then, rather than powder coating the centers, I custom polished the centers of the rims myself. The rims are straight and true with no curb rash.

I love these rims and hate to let them go. These are the ONLY fully polished SSR comps I have ever seen! I currently have 2 sets of rims, and am forced to sell these or my Fikses. Since I can't forsee tracking my car in the near future, I have chosen to sell these instead.

These rims will be available in the next week or so, but for now, I'm just gathering any interest. I will be pretty busy till then, so here some pics for now. BTW, I have sold A LOT of stuff on bimmerforums and never once had a bad transaction as a seller. I've sold a few rims as well and have a perfect Ebay score under my_toy_m3.

Can you take close up pics of the finish? Also, would you sell w/o tires? Thanks.

i have a potential buyer coming to check out the wheels tomorrow. if it doesn't fall through, i'll take close up pics.

the rims should fit without spacers. however, since i have KW variant 2 coilovers, i need spacers to clear the struts.

just wanted to post up some pics i took this morning to show off the condition of the rims. they are straight and true, and have no curb rash. the finish is a little dull right now, but with a little bit of elbow grease and aluminum polish, they will really brighten up dramatically....

Where did you get the centercaps?
they're custom... basically, they're BBS centercaps glued to the SSR rings with a BMW Roundel.

Nice wheels. How much and hard was to get them polished? Where did you get the sticker to put back on? Did you clear coat them after polish.

GL with the sale.

I have a set mint SSR Comp on "Arthenic" 17x8 et 40 that if some body wants them for $1,000 I will buy EazyM3 polished ones.

EazyM3 What are the wheel bolts/knots and studs that you are using??????

I got your PM and thanks for the interest. When I first bought the rims, I had the shop professionally
paint strip all of them and polish the lips for $300. Then, rather than powdercoating the centers
like I originally planned, I was scared off because I wasn't sure if that would affect the integrity
of the rims. So then, I decided to polish the rims, but the shop quoted me another $250 PER RIM.
Since that was way too much, I followed the shop's advice and polished them myself. I invested in
bout $200 in polishing tools and compounds, spent about 5 to 6 hours PER RIM, and did it myself. Rather
than clear coating, I got advice to use a product called Zoop Seal to finish off the rims. Zoop seal
is basically a $100 seal protectant and is very good stuff. Try googling it to check it out. Lastly, once the rims are polished, they're pretty easy to maintain. Use a good polishing compound like Flitz, and you can bring them back to new everytime.

As for the wheels studs, they are from Turner and the lug nuts are Kics 40s.

If you would be willing to sell the rims only, please let me know.

Sorry, I can't seperate the tires. The tires are practically brand new and got rave reviews at Tirerack. Please check out
Tirerack and read what customers are saying about them.

Sorry, no trades. Besides, why don't you step up to the plate and buy those CCWs already. Everyone knows you're infatuated
with them.;)
