View Full Version : WTB: Cheap E30 exhaust
kendogg 07-06-2006, 11:26 AM I need an exhaust setup for the E30 I just bought, preferable cheap stuff. I can't buy nicer stuff quite yet for the exhaust, need to save some money somewhere, I can buy better later. I have nothing after the manifolds. Thell me what you've got. Thanks.
I dunno if I told you this, but I may have a lead for you on one... or you can have my i exhaust for cheap when I do my M50 swap. Let me make some calls and I'll let you know.
And there actually is an eta collector in the trunk of the car.

hmm, that may work. I'll try to research the eta collector, see if there's any reason I wouldn't wanna run it. What do you have for exhaust right now, OEM? I'm def interested, lol. When do you plan on doing the M50 swap, anytime soon?
My car has some sort of stock-style replacement exhaust. It has some leaks, but they can be welded up. It's very rusty though.
I also may have access to the exhaust off Wreck Racing's car prior to adding the turbo, but it has no cats AFAIK. I am not sure what the guy who owns it wants for it.

See if you can get a pic of it and lmk what they want for it, I could care less about cats, lol.
I'll have to look at your stock exhaust, I might just want the y-pipe, or cat, or whatever, before the cat-back section, depending on condition. Thanks matt.

You do know that Atlanta has emission testing, right?

yup.
Ok, here's the deal. This exhaust that I can get off our racecar is based off an eta exhaust. It goes all the way from the manifolds back to the tailpipe with one pipe. the muffler is a Dynomax 2.5" that's pretty new and the pipe is somewhat smaller than that, probably about 2". It also has a glasspack in the middle to quiet it down a little. It's yours for $30, for the muffler.
JJ Byzanz 07-08-2006, 10:58 PM I have a full Manifold back system from an 88 325i 4dr I will give you for free.
JJ Byzanz 07-08-2006, 11:17 PM Take that one.
