View Full Version : Who buys washing machines and dryers for repair/parts? Iron Chef 07-06-2006, 12:40 AM I don't even know what to search for. SecretAznSauce 07-06-2006, 12:47 AM i have a set SecretAznSauce 07-06-2006, 12:47 AM what do you need? Iron Chef 07-06-2006, 12:48 AM No I need to sell mine. Don't know who to sell to though. CABimmer 07-06-2006, 12:48 AM Just fix the ones you have. There is not much to either and they are very easy to repair. CABimmer 07-06-2006, 12:48 AM Donate it and write it off. Teaguer 07-06-2006, 12:55 AM Is your set crapped out ? Iron Chef 07-06-2006, 01:00 AM Well we just went ahead and bought a new set. The washer is leaking, fixed it before and broke in 8 months. Dryer works but takes extra time to dry. I think it was 400 each at sears. It's some whirlpool brand. Irish03 07-06-2006, 01:06 AM Funny that this is mentioned. I have a Kennmore dryer (working) circa 1978, a Maytag washer (working) circa 1977, and a Maytag dryer (broken) circa 1977. The broken dryer can be had by anyone who will pick it up, and the others I would let go for next to nothing. I would keep them, but I need the garage space because all three have been displaced to the garage due to a new washer and dryer that are in the laundry room. Both are Kennmore. SecretAznSauce 07-06-2006, 05:17 AM dude, get the new front load kenmores. they are kick ass. slow dryer, replace element or the thermostat Irish03 07-06-2006, 06:01 AM dude, get the new front load kenmores. they are kick ass. Got them in black, love them! SecretAznSauce 07-06-2006, 06:12 AM notice how the washer hardly uses any water. that shit is wierd!!! weaksauce 07-06-2006, 06:51 AM slow dryer, replace element or the thermostat or clean the lint off the blower wheel, or replace the tub seal, or make sure the door is not bent, so that it closes properly and seals, or make sure your vent isn't stopped up, and make sure your dryer hose isn't kinked behind the dryer.......:D Irish03 07-06-2006, 12:04 PM notice how the washer hardly uses any water. that shit is wierd!!! That was one of the excuses I used to buy it - "it saves water." Phypha 07-06-2006, 04:11 PM I have a set of industrial ones I need to get rid of. |
