ok so this should be of no surprise.

well i was crusing down the highway when i noticed quadtips on a nice new 5, im thinking...M5!!! so i slowly make my way up to the car and give the driver a thumbs up for a great car :) well we end up pacing each other, mind you i have no intent to have a run due to my ticket not to long ago...well sure enough he nails it! were crusing at 65-70 mph i drop gears and try....to follow, but wow. I felt like i was standing still  i let off at 75-80. literally 5-7 seconds later he is anywhere from 1/4 mile to 1/2 a mile ahead of me :eyecrazy :eyecrazy here's a diagram to help you understand :D : sorry for the big picture, i finally got it to be bigger and now i don't want to mess with it anymore.

In the picture it looks like the two cars on the left are going in opposite directions against the traffic to try to avoid other cars to try to race the E60 m5:D

wow, i am really bad at this, we were on a highway so no oncoming traffic at all :) the two cars are my m3 and his m5, his is gray. in the next pane is a lapse of 5 seconds, but the same cars, just a quarter mile gap inbetween.

love the pic specially the gray dust the M5 left behind and how small your M3 becomes in the after scenario.
