View Full Version : AMG E55 vs 540i uberhammer 07-05-2006, 07:03 PM I was driving east bound on 40 to I270 north Friday when a AMG E55 cuts me off on the on ramp to I270. I follow him in 3rd gear at 3500 rpm at about 50 mph on the ramp. As we merge onto 270 he waves bye bye to me. I hammer it, so does he. It was a dead heat up to 120. I can't believe I didn't pull on him :(. (I could have taken him anywhere over 160mph.) VADER13 07-05-2006, 09:34 PM The W211 E55 is a torque monster uptop. The AMG Speedshift is bulletproof and works good in topspeed runs. W/a chip and pully the car is close too 60 more hp and removes the limiter.
