I am moving to Atlanta for school at GT soon...looking to purchase a manual with sport package 328i/is so if anybody knows someone who is selling I would definitely be interested. Thanks in advance.

Btw, anybody here originate from Cali and moved out here? First time living out of Cali and wouldnt mind knowing how ppl adjusted to the new environment (ie weather hehe) among other aspects.

I think that as long as you're polite, and don't assume that everyone in the South was in the cast of "Deliverance," you should be fine. :confused

Oh, and welcome. :wave

haha, yea the few times I have been in Georgia it seems people were relatively nicer (southern hospitality at play?) at least compared to northern california.

Jump in line...I'm looking for the same car as you!

As far as culture, it's fine. A good friend of mine is from San Diego and it's so much fun to mess with him...I'll never forget the first time he saw snow! :lol

I moved out here from San Diego and SF. Big differences in the weather, but you'll adjust. People are friendlier.

Cages are boring. I miss my bike every day.

I would love to get a motard to commute on, but I'd be topping it out twice a day for 10 miles on the highway. :rofl

One of the members, Kyle K, is originally from the OC. And no, he does't look like Adam Brody. Sigh....:(

You know, I used to think bmw cages got my adrenaline going...but then I got a bike and after going back to the car it was drab. Nothing compares to riding in the twisties or gunning a bike like a noOb

Too bad there is no legal lane splitting in Georgia...otherwise everyone would commute on bikes

This is a lie. The closest thing I have ever ridden in to a motorcycle is a Lotus Elise. Miatas are second, but stock ones have no balls.

I wish there was sometimes, but I'd probably be dead. :rofl

I may score something to ride to school in the fall... that would rock.

As bad of a question on this forum....

Suggest getting a miata as a car instead of e36 328i/is...based on price of car and costs for maintenance seems like it might be worthy?

It's not a bad question at all. Miatas are good cars, and relatively economical in terms of upkeep and parts availability. That's a perfectly respectable option.

Marijuana is not legal here, And we dont have a movie star gov.
Yes the 1st one is hard to get use to, but just get a job at the local McD's for like a hour a week and ask around work you'll get lots of options.

'Cause I'm in the market for one, so everybody says "If it's good enough for Denton then it's good enough for me!"

I'm a trend-setter.

I have three friends that I convinced to buy BMWs. It is really easy. I give them a ride in my car around a couple of turns and normally they are sold by then.

Aint that the truth. The hard part is finding one at a good price.

It's easier to convince them to buy a BMW than it is to buy Motons, I guess. :rofl
