View Full Version : Mounting non-runflat tires on OEM Rims???

Has anyone tried mounting non-runflat tires on the stock E90 rims?

I have an E90 325 with base wheel and tires (16"), and my runflats are worn out. I would rather put on some less expensive regular tires and want to know if the rims will support that.

Thanks,

Mark

Rob,

Have you actually done this yourself?

Does the tire dealer need special equipment (for runflat tires/rims) to do the swap? (most in my area don't have this)

Many thanks,

Mark

Yep, works fine. They are regular rims. I run non-RFT snow tires on stock sport package wheels. Nothing different required for mounting.
