hey guys im planing on buying my lowering springs soon an was woundering if any one has used the springs from intrax they drop the frnt 1.8" and rear 1.4", i measured and my 6 actually sits 1" lower in the back so im hopein thes kit will make my baby sit just right , i know lowerin the 6 will compermise comfort but i was wounderin if any one has had experence with the springs, and could tell me what they think of them, and if anyone know of some other lowering springs that lower around 1.5- 3" . ive been searching the form an can only find little bits here and there on this subject so far i know of eibach, h&r ,racing dynamics, some voltland company off ebay, bavarian auto sport, korman road sport, ive also heard so 5er based springs work also?? any i deas would be much help and also pics of cars with diffrent kits to see how they sit would be greatly appreciated, thanks

in my area lowering of the car means that the oil pan clearance becomes a dangerous factor.my 1st was lowered and getting down my gravel driveway was like driving thru a minefield and it's pretty level.the pan already had cracks that i had to re-repair.i loved the way the car handled, but worrying about the pan constantly was a pain.
just measure the pan to ground clearance before and deduct estimated drop.i live in the country and sometimes do have to leave the paved road.my stock height 6 is not as much a problem as the lowered one.if you never have to leave the pavement and the roads are relatively smooth then pan clearance is not that much of an issue.the lowered one had less than a 3" clearance.Chances are most lowered 6's are sporting battle scars on the pan.it doesn't make a good bump stop.

Check into Suspension Techniques springs and sway bars, w/ Bilstein sports!

They are working great on my ///M6....firm and flat in the twisties!!

Come to Sharkfest West (see regional event forum) to see it, they won't let me post links or pic's here....at least not yet!
