It's time for a follow-up meet at the same place as last, the beautiful and spacious Hidden Falls Park along the grand Mississippi River in St. Paul.
I would like to propose Sunday, July 23, 2006, with the alternate of the following Sunday, August 6, 2006, in case of bad weather. The Sunday prior to the 23rd is the BMW CCA (7/16) with their own BBQ and Car Show. Having it the following weekend we help for a larger turnout. I would like to be able to advertise this at the BMWCCA meet, as well as the local BMW dealerships, and auto repairs. Eric's going to put his artistic talents to work and will design the flier. I'll also post on other forums and work to spread the word (help needed).
Our last event this past Spring had a great turnout with nearly 30 BMW's representing all models. Given that at this event a lot of us pretty much got acquainted, and many of us have had smaller meets since then, as well as meets regularly on the weekends, we would like to expand upon this and have some fun while we are at it.
I can provide (rent) a professional volleyball net and bring a BBQ grill for a cookout, and perhaps we can get people to sign up to bring some food and drinks. Other ideas encouraged and welcomed!
Lets make this a big event and fun!
