So after four and a half weeks of waiting to refix my sophia, shes finally up and running again on new shoes (a many thanks to Keith and Al who pointed me towards the yokohoma avids) and black painted 320is wheels. It feels so great to drive the 2002 again. Can't believe its been so long.

Welcome back. I know the feeling. My Tii was down most of last year and in storage during winter. I drove it a handful of times recently until it was down for the 5spd swap. It will be down again for a week or so while it undergoes BBK for front and rear. I can't wait until I can just start driving her on a regular basis.

So what's BBK? I only know that as Bayerishe Brewery Kaiserslautern, a favorite German Beers from my days in the Military :beermugdr

Ditto. I didnt register my car this year so i could start body work. And its just been sitting in the back yard for a while. Once we get some stuff out of the shop, it'll be body work time. I cant wait to get back in the drivers seat again!!!

In case you're not being sarcastic, bbk = Big Brake Kit. :)

Thanks for that. I assume you're talking either the 5 series calipers or Lee's Massive Brakes and the Wilwoods? Did you see my web site note about problems I had with the big ATE calipers and the threads for the hard lines on the calipers?

5 series calipers? You can use those? I was only aware of the conversion with the volvo calipers.

Yes I did see it and will look out for it. When I received my 5 series calipers, I immediately checked to see I got both left and right sides.
