Hey guys,

Simply have no time to track/auto-x this car anymore (closed tracks don't help either) so its going back to daily driver status.

Looking to trade my black Sparco EVO seats w/ E36 mounts and sliders for a set of black heated/manual vader seats. Prefer a local trade to avoid shipping fees/hassles but willing to ship for the right seats.

New retail price on this setup is ~$1640 (Seats-$1340, Sliders $100, Bases $200)

Seats are in good shape. One seat has a small puncture in the fabric.

I'm looking for a set of vaders in very good/excellent shape. I do not want a set with major fading/cracking or mechanical issues.

Feel free to email me at spencerbunting@hotmail.com

Note: Autopower roll bar is coming out as well. Let me know if interested in both seats/bar.

and there's no way you would be interested in power, non-heated ones?!?!?

I might consider non-heated.

I really dont want power seats due to the fact that wiring them up will be a PITA.

Like I said, I am willing to discuss shipping if the seats are right. PM/Email me if you want to discuss it further.

Seats need to be sold before the roll bar is sold. If I cant sell the seats, i'll need to keep the bar.

I'm going the other way (daily driver -> track car) and I've got a pair of heated, power vaders in very good shape. Any interest?

I may also be interested in the roll bar and driver's side harness (that looks like a Rallye 4, correct?)- would you let it all go in a package deal?

I'm keeping both harnesses.

I would prefer to stay away from power seats due to the fact that my car is not wired for them. From what i've read, it is quite a pain to wire them up, plus you can't buy the power plugs by themselves from the dealer, rather you have to buy a harness at close to $100/side.

I would be interested in trading my Black Manual Vaders. Non-heated. No rips, tears, or cracks. What size body can fit in these seats? Are these smaller than the Evo2s?

thanks,
Scott

I'm 5'11'' 165-170 and fit fine.

Yes, they are smaller than the Evo2.

If interested, email some pics of your seats.

Hmm... Interested, but I don't know if it's worth the shipping to/from CO... how would something like that work out? You ever get out to SoCal? :dunno

Considering how much this setup costs new, a few bucks in s/h cost is alot cheaper.

I'm moving back to the bay area next month, so if i still have these, I could arrange a local trade with someone.... :dunno

Great deal for anyone. I am just posting to let you guys know that if you are going to do any shipping to use Grey Hound. It will save you both a LOT of money. I think each vader would be about $40-60 to send depending on where it is going and you could box both Sparcos togeather and send them for about the same depending on the location. If you want to sell the sparcos with out a trade let me know. I will be needing a pair soon and could probably budget them in in the next couple weeks :)

Not sure how small these are. I have some black Recaro SRDs that I might be willing to trade. They are on sliders, they are not fixed back, so they are nice for a street car.

Let me know if you are interested

Hmm... being in the bay might change a few things.

How comfortable are these seats for long road trips? I sat in them briefly at a shop, seemed decent...

Just did the trip from CO with the M3 and a Grand Cherokee. Switching between the two during the drive, the Sparcos were close to the comfort of the jeep seats. Its just a bit more of a pain to get in/out of them. They are very supportive, plus you can get lumbar inserts if you need them.

I will consider shipping if necessary.

can the stock seatbelt latch be used with these?

Spencer

I believe you could. I have some attachments for the floor mounts, which I *believe* are for attaching the stock belt recepticle.
