hey anyone been out to the beach(along the east coast) lately? if so, how's the surf? i know that's a stupid question...oceanfront sucks and so does sandbridge but those are the only beaches (in VA) that I have been to.

Yeah I've never really seen any good waves here, you probably have to go farther south like to the OBX or FL or somewhere around there.

There are, a few people I know surf in FL, but certainly not this far north.

Are there waves? Virginia Beach has the longest running surf comp in the US. http://www.surfecsc.com/ As I say that though, the surf has really sucked this year for some reason. Not much more than knee to waist high. :(

ocean city nj has been sucking as well as stone harbor, 7-9 ft boards and little knee slappers :( time to go to florida
