I am considering buying a used 2001 530i that I found locally. Its a manual seems to be in great shape per the photos. It has 96,000 miles though.

My other car is a 98 Formula with tons of horsepower and I need something a bit more professional and something that is more comfy on the road.

What should I look/ask for(trouble areas)?
Why shouldn't I buy this car?

I have tried to find the sticky for problem areas (like the 3 Series forum has) but haven't found one.
