I just smoked a POS Civic. hehehe. Mid 90's civic, black primer, very illegal black tint, 2 teenagers w/ attitudes.
The guy was revving his car when he heard my intake. So I was in for some fun. At the light, from idle, I just gassed it and actually screeched the tires for about 1/2 sec. because it was a little wet, and took off. I slowed because this diam bus stopped in my lane and traffic slowed. The kids passed and stuck the finger. I was just laughing as they passed.
Sheesh, you'd think if they want to play, at least be sore losers, hahaha.
They should take some anger management classes to deal with their angst ridden anxienty.

Hey Lopaka,

I hear ya.

Curious, what's the scene out there? What modified vehicles do you mostly see? Civics?

Same cars out in L.A. Hawaii is like 6 months behind LA in fashion/cars, etc. I even saw this 300z today w/ a Skyline front body kit and the moose antler rear wing. The only diff w/ Hawaii, not as many new Porsche's, M5's, Ferrari's cruizing around like there are in LA. But every POS Honda or Acura is here. There are a few Jap import speedshops here and a lot of Honda's are carrying turbo's because they only cost about $2000 for turbo including labor.

Yeah, I hear ya. It was a friday. Had to get the week out of my system and the engine @ WOT was what I needed. I just hate when these poser's think they're all that. If you see my car, it looks stock. I don't go looking for trouble, but I never back down. He was revving and they were kinda like...let's go... So I went... The best part was chirping the tires especially from Idle. I usually have to rev to 3200+ to do that, but it was a little wet and about 5:30 so the air was cool and my car was running strong.

In my buddy Dial's words, "DIE HONDA, DIE." :)
