This is a question many might want the answer to... He just knew I had the answer and I wouldn't play the common internet (especially BF.c) game of "I think I know so I'll say it's true"

There is no "ipod ready head unit" for e36...

If you mean the c33 cars, where you can use the blitzsafe or other adapter (all of which seem to have negative effects on these cars, no complaints with the blitzsafe though...) I can tell you

1995 S50B30US M3 cars were made/imported until 11/95. All the ones I've dealt with with the 'better' electrical (but still the manual climate control (two thumbs up!!!)) are 9/95 and later. Give you the later stereo with later wiring, the later alarm system, goodies goodies.

Im doing an alarm install in JoeyG 's 1995 Dakar M, in which somebody had previously cut the stock alarm harness.

If I get you the build date, can you tell me if its the early or later alarm, so I can cut the harness out of another car and solder it back onto this one?

And also, can you tell me if its a c33, and if blitzsafe will work in his car?
