I am planning on removing 535 numbers from white trunk lid and I am afraid that the lid will be yellowish (in fact is from time), but area where the letters were would stand out. Any advice on how to clean up the lid or even out the color?

What polishes do you have right now?

Griot's garage machine polish 2 and 3 (3 being the mildest).

I think you'd be fine with those once you debadge...just make sure to rewax the patch
