I've always said "two-thousand-two," and not really thought about it, it just seemed like the obvious pronunciation. Then, however, I heard "twenty-oh-two," which would make more sense with the "02" nickname. Which is the proper pronunciation?

I've never heard anything other than "two thousand two".

I've heard & used both over the past 28 years - both are 4 syllables, so no difference!

"I say tomata, you say tomato"
