Having a little bit of a brake issue. As you guys know, i did the suspension, so i took the time to bleed the brake system and put new fluid in. I had a problem before that i thought would be solved by bleeding, but alas...no dice. What happens is that when the brake is first applied the "BRAKE" light flashes for a second and the pedal is REALLY stiff and the brakes dont grab for a second. I had this problem on my E23, but after 5 mins of driving it went away. On Wolfie however, the problem doesnt not go away. I feel that this could be the master cylinder having a bad seal on the inside? The parts car i have should have a good one, i was just wondering if anyone ever had this problem and new the solution, before i start the trial and error of the hydraulic system, oh joy.

from the little info given,it sounds like the classic brake bomb failure.if you don't have reserve brake actuations(say 10-20 pumps)after the car is turned off.the brake bomb has failed.mine gave a very un-nerving brake feel at hwy cruising speeds.you would hit the brakes and there would be a delay before the brakes would grab and the pedAL was very stiff.steering was fine.if the bomb is holding pressure and you do have reserve pumping, the fluid in the reservior will rise with each pump until the pedal gets hard.

I was going to say, that would be the first thing i checked. And they are the cheapest part of the brake system besides fluids. Ill give it a shot.
Thanks
