First post here. Im from South Africa and own a 130i M pack. Does anyone have any professional advise on remapping/chip tuning this new 3 litre? I've had some companies claim an extra 10-20% through remapping..is this still considered safe on this new engine, or is pushing it more really asking for trouble? Is there any ready-made software or tuning pack for the 130i, thats been tested? I'm wary of these places that say they can tune all makes of cars, it seems like they do a standard tune to every car,which might not be suitable for some engines.

if i were you i'd check with some forums based in the UK. I haven't seen anything on mods for the 1 series in the US.
