I have a wonderful 1997 M3/4 with automatic for sale, relatively cheap. I am only selling because the wife wants me to get a new car and I found a great deal, but the dealer won't give me beans for this car as a trade in. The details are:

1997 M3 4 door sedan, Helrot on Black
141,000 miles and counting. Stored winters. This was originally a Florida car and has never seen salt or snow. Never smoked in, either.
Interior in excellent condition with one worn spot (just discolored, not worn through) on the driver's seat (see pics). Sport interior, not Lux.
New Khoumo MX tires (surprisingly nice tire, very very nice rain tire!)
Koni SA'a all around.
New front strut hats, tie rod ends, LCABs. Ball joints are tight.
Reinforced rear shock mounts, new shock upper mounts.
New brakes last year with Brembo rotors and Hawk pads (HPS pads).
HVAC Head unit replaced about three years ago (before I learned you could fix them!)
Driveshaft replaced 4 years ago.
Brake light switch fixed.
New hood struts two years ago.
I always changed the oil myself every 5000 miles and used 0W40 Mobil 1 and Fram filters.
Mods are limited to an x-brace, JTDesigns underpanel and a K&N drop in filter. Otherwise, this car is bone stock.
The windows are tinted (it was a Florida car, after all) which looks great on the red exterior.
The front has a good number of stone chips since I drove this car in the summer on the highway.
Pics attached. I have more available if you are interested. The car is north of Detroit, Michigan.

That is a pretty nice car....how bad was the dealer trying to rip you for the trade?

In three weeks I could offer $8k...don't take it as an insult but I'm sure it's better than the dealer. :)

You are correct, your offer, as low as it is, was better than the dealer. Good thing I don't have to sell. I can be patient.

Thanks,

Bob

I inquired about this car several months ago. Bob sounds like an honest guy with nothing to hide. Bump for a 4dr

Add new RTABs to the description. Changed them Monday. Have to get an alignment today, but the RTABs made a noticable difference. Well worth the effort to change.
