Guys I have been slowly going threw my car, to see what it is missing, and what needs work on.

The sunroof crank does not fold over, and the sunroof does no open the entire way. It opens about 2/3s of the way. I was my understanding that the sunroof panel should disappear into the roof. What is wrong.??

Second even though i got a set of roof drain tubes and clips for the car,
the passenger side front one is missing. How hard is it to pull one out of a junk car, and move it to mine?

3rd found an excellent interior guy to help me finish the car, and he will help put the headliner in.

The sunroof has a click point to indicate the end of travel when open and also the closed position between open and up. Maybe it's just misadjusted?

The drain tube should be easy to scab off the parts car. Cut the headliner with a knife and cut the clamp off (use tin snips) and it should slide off and pull out.

Josh, when I rotate it, it will tilt up, and it will open.
But the main sunroof only retracts about 2/3 into the car.
After that it stops.

It should go back to within 1-2 inches of the opening. Did you push on it with your hand while you crank? Make sure everything is lubed up very well and that you don't have any broken cables. Being well lubed makes all the difference in the world. :ky

Like I said, there is a stop point designed into the gear box so it clicks into position when closed and also when fully open. If it's misadjusted and stopping half open, just push past it to open the roof. It should click twice, after the first click you're at the stop point, if you keep going it will click again and keep going. You won't hurt it, trust me.

On a more important note, if you have other stuff you can do to get this thing on the road, I would focus on that. The sun roof (except for drain tubes) can be done after the headliner and glass is in.

Yeah, thanks.
I have contacted a guy who owned an interior shop and is considered the best around. He is comming over to help me, maybe on saturday. We are planning on taking all the glass out to put in the headliner.

Also I found both rear sunroof tubes in the trunk, apparently
there is no hole to put it in.:embarrasm
