Hi, I want to upgrade my ignition systen but my vaccum advance is pooched. Does anyone have a good distributor for a 1983 320i for sale?

You don't have one for the earlier 2.0, do ya? I don't remember you having one, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Yeah they are different. The early ones spun clockwise and had a smaller rotor contact used with points. Most of the early ones had a condenser on the side as well for the points.
