In the several times ive waxed down my car, i couldnt help but get the wax in contact with the plastic trim. The only problem is that, even after i scrubbed and dried off the wax, an ugly white stain was left on the trims.
I tried rewashing it wish soap, but it dries off just the same and leaves the white stained marks... what gives? (well, i know what happened)... but what cleaning product would fix this?
note - sorry if this is a beaten thread, i read the stickys, but couldnt find a definite answer

Believe it or not, peanut butter works great. You can also use an eraser, which is touched on in the second thread.

LOL
Believe it or not, peanut butter works great.+100!
I was very skeptical of PB to do anything but make a big mess :eyecrazy. I was also just dumb enough to try it. Worked like a charm, trim looks like new! My question is: who was the first brain surgeon to think to himself, "I've got dried wax on my trim...peanut butter will take it off"?
