I am looking for someone experienced with Diff swaps. If you help me swap my newly acquired 3.15 LSD, you keep my 2.93 open diff. :)

Phil lets just get the correct tools and go for it. It really doesnt seem that hard its just a bit time consuming. Theres only a handful of tools we need to complete it.

Not that hard, two people makes things alot easier. One guy in the car pulling e-brake(rotate axles to easiest three bolts take out bolts with e-brake on release e-brake do again) I have done over 50 diff swaps and have it down to about 40-50 minutes its not that hard.

It doesnt seem very time consuming at all. Just a bunch of bolts to undo. Theres nothing that you would need to be mechanically inclined for or anything.

Are the input flanges the same? If not, make sure you swap the flanges while its still connected to the axles.

Where in MD are you? I'd be willing to help out, got plenty of tools, nothing specialized though.

The only "special" tool you need is an inverted torx socket. The size you need is E12. The swap is pretty straight forward. It will be a lot easier if you drop your muffler first.

I have the socket if you want to borrow it. Make sure you tap the socket onto the bolt with a rubber mallet. This will seat it properly and avoid stripping.
