It really doesnt seem that hard its just a bit time consuming. Theres only a handful of tools we need to complete it. card counter 06-20-2006, 06:15 PM Not that hard, two people makes things alot easier. One guy in the car pulling e-brake(rotate axles to easiest three bolts take out bolts with e-brake on release e-brake do again) I have done over 50 diff swaps and have it down to about 40-50 minutes its not that hard. PrestoMB 06-20-2006, 08:19 PM It doesnt seem very time consuming at all. Just a bunch of bolts to undo. Theres nothing that you would need to be mechanically inclined for or anything. If not, make sure you swap the flanges while its still connected to the axles. resisTm3 03-29-2007, 03:50 PM dont strip anything.. its a bitch. sKunkman 03-29-2007, 03:58 PM Where in MD are you? The swap is pretty straight forward. It will be a lot easier if you drop your muffler first. NYY42 03-29-2007, 08:01 PM The only "special" tool you need is an inverted torx socket. Make sure you tap the socket onto the bolt with a rubber mallet. This will seat it properly and avoid stripping. resisTm3 03-29-2007, 08:51 PM yesss you really dont want to strp on eof the torx bolts : ( |
