Don't know if there are any "side effects" but I've never noticed any, and I've used it numerous times on glass. 98Z3 06-20-2006, 09:12 PM like island said, a nice razor blade. spray some windex on there to use as a lubricant so you don't scratch the glass. then put some goo gone or goof off on a rag and scrab the residue off. then go over it with some more windex. i just cleaned up some residue left from my previous sticker with some goof off and it worked great. abbot555 06-21-2006, 12:35 AM Goo Gone works well.
