So what M3 with VA tags and a broken brake light wanted to race me on the 95 HOV lanes near Springfield, Sunday, June 19, 10:30 pm. :dunno
The plate started with a KAL ####? and I think it was green. I don't know. I was very tired from driving up from Danville.

How'd the Mazda event turn out Steven?... thanks again for loaning me some tools and advice on changing my brakes... wish Id used em a bit sooner before I hit that wall :)

Im already talking to a few people with E34 front ends and I should have the car back up here next week.

That didn't take long to go OT. :)

You need brakes BEFORE Hogpen, not when you are in it.
The car doesn't like to be upset in that turn. There is runoff there.

Mazda Drivers put on the most professional event I have ever been to.
As I said on ECE, a Miata and MINI got crunched on Sunday.
A couple RX8s in D left the track backwards.

I think the Grand East is a tough track for a novice.
On Saturday my wife took her MINI on the track for 2 parade laps.
I gave her instructions all the way around. When you break every turn to turn in, apex track out by pointing there is a lot to do. Even at slow speeds I couldn't keep up with the instructions. I can't image giving someone instructions at 100mph going up the climbing esses.:eyecrazy

I never got in front of it. He got off the Springfield exit (I think). I don't think it was an unmarked car. The way he got next to me, sped up then backed off for me to race. That's too much like entrapment. Maybe he was a DTMer.

The last time I pulled away from an annoying M3 I got a speeding ticket. :mad
