when i first got my car, i noticed that it had scratches and swirl marks all over it. so when i took it in to get my AC looked at (1 week later), i pointed it out to them and the dealer said that they would detail the car. well, of course, it doesn't look any different! any suggestions on what i can tell the dealer to do? the scratches are all over my car (like they dried it off with rocks). i'm afraid i'm at a lost of what i can demand because i don't know much AND i'm a female and we all know how service people love talking to women. i bought the car brand new and it's jet black so all these imperfections show. please help! i'm seeking advice. thanks everyone!

ugh.. jet black. a VERY hot color when it's clean, but it's a pain trying to maintain that flawless image.

i got two words for you and you may not want to hear them: hard work.

seriously, i used to work at a dealership in my teen years and those guys didn't know what the hell they were doing.

i would spend the money on a pc. buy some supplies and get to work. it's the only way you can ensure a job well done.

let us know if you need help purchasing products.

You should just fix it yourself. See detailing 101 stickied in the show and shine forum for all the info you need.
