I'm trying to get my "right side" windshield wiper on the car, and it looks like the previous owner had some err... trouble.

I'm trying to figure out if I'll need to replace the wiper motor, or if i can just take this apart and replace the little screw part. Trouble is.. i have no idea what to call this so i can search for the part.

Any input would be appreciated.

a little JB weld with your wiper would do.

mm... I'd prefer to do this right.
... And to not have to take a hacksaw to remove the wipers at a later date. ;)

Part #1 Commonly called the wiper transmission. Looks like the PO went bananas tightening the nut. You'll also need the washers & nuts. A junk yard a good first try.

If you're adventurous, you could drill & tap the remaining stub & run a socket head screw in there.

Thank you very much choffa.
Yuck. Figures it'd be the 300 dollar part.
I might just try that.
