I have a PC and have used just about every product out there to get rid of my swirl but it's just not happening. I'm thinking about trying a circular buffer but I'm scared...

How can you put more swirls and damage the paint when using a circular buffer? does it all have to do with the amount of pressure you're putting on the machine and its'speed?

Can someone please elaborate on the proper use and improper use of a circular machine so I can fully understand>

x2. I've never used a PC before, I went from a low speed random orbital buffer to a 300-3,000 RPM circular buffer and I have no problems. No one spot too long and no pressure.

The other suggestions about limiting the speed are good. I would also suggest NOT using the circular polisher for tight spots with lots of varying shapes. It's better to polish these tight areas by hand. BTW, I use the DeWalt 849 and have owned it for 4+ years. It's bulletproof!
