Hey everyone, I just signed up to the forums and elpect it to consume mass hours of my life in the future. Anyways, I'm needing some help if anyone is willing to give me some advice...
Here's the problem...when I turn on my left-turn signal, the high beams come on. And to get more detailed, it only happens when my headlights are on already. Also, the right-turn signal works fine. There is no "loose" feeling
with the left-turn signal, but if I keep my hand on it, it works, but if I take my hand off and let it be, the high beams come on. When the headlights are off, it all works fine though.
So would you say that I should replace the whole turn signal thing, or is there a piece somewhere that may be the culprit?
Well, thanks for any help.
I've been reading the forums for a couple weeks now, and I've learned a lot from a lot of you, thanks for all the info and the generally good attitude that everyone seems to have.

Easy one. Your turn signal stalk is worn. Replace it. I had this happen, and an independant shop tech fixed it by bending contacts or something- for 2 years or so; then it started up again. I just replaced the damn thing the next time. Mostly because I changed lanes on the freeway and flashed the guy in front of me; he flipped out and followed my wife and I for miles...

It's easy to do. Good luck!
John

Thanks man, I'll just go ahead and replace the whole part then so I don't have to mess with it in the future.
Same prob with me, I keep flashing people. I haven't been followed yet though, thankfully.
Thanks for the feedback!

Not sure, I'm still a newbie myself. Just picked up a 320 a while back, and I'm starting to get it fixed up. I'm surprised at how many parts can be found, not like my old 72 datsun 510 that I LOVED. So far I'm loving the car though.
Portland's awesome though. I'm at Jantzen Beach, on the island.

Cool. I'll check out the site.
I ordered the turn signal thingy. I probably should have bought a used one, it would have been WAY cheaper I think. Oh well.
