Well Ive decided I want to get fixed racing seats for the 2002 so I can have a proper harness setup when the cage gets put in. These Scheel seats are awesome for a street car. Not to sure what to ask for them as I dont know what the going rate should be. They are in really good condition. No tears or rips just a little missing courdoroy on the drivers side due to rubbing. The drivers side is out at the moment because one of the mounts I found was broke so I put the passenger side on the drivers side. Mount is easily fixable.
Passenger side seat is next to perfect. Full padding and perfect cords.
I will take some pics of the seats soon. For now this is the only picture I have.
If anyone can suggest a reasonable asking price that would be very helpfull.
TIA

I just read a post the other day about these seats on FAQ. Somebody was able to get some in poor condition for about $200 while another got one in good condition for around $400. I believe there's a couple posts stirring up comment of the comfort of these seats over the Recaros. This means more demand and can mean higher selling prices as now there are a few that want to upgrade their Recaros to these seats. Just an observation...

I'm still here from time to time, but yes, we are very busy now. Finishing up your seats, Brent:)
If you're interested, drop me a note. I might be inclined to work something out, and take the Scheels off your hands.

I took some pictures of the drivers seat today. I originally stated it had no tears but after looking at it today I noticed a few. The passenger side is in much, much better condition and is mounted in the 2002 which is at the shop getting the engine rebuilt at the moment. I will be going down there tomorrow and will take pictures of that seat. On another note, before these get sold I need to buy other seats. I may be interested in trades for good condition fixed racing seats and brackets. Otherwise in order to make this work I would be looking to get at least $600 for the two. I brake it down like this: worn drivers seat $200, great passenger seat $400. If this is outragous tell me but if I cant get this much then I will just keep them.
Thanks!!

This is the bracket that I found was broke at the end where it would bolt to the sliders. A simple piece of angle iron.

I guess I've never seen the seats directly from the front but they remind me of the 88-91 CRX Si seats which were very supportive and comfy.

If its any help, I got my set for $500 back around February. Mine looks to be in better overall condition when purchased and are a little different (the same type found in Paul Cain's 3.8csi, with the more aggressive side bolsters).
About a year ago I was shafted on a set that I paid for and was later reimbursed the $200 (yet, still different from this your set). These seats are somewhat popular and seldom offered. So, that being said, whatever the market will bear. It sucks if you plan on recovering the seats, then you are paying a premium for the shell - like I had to.
Good luck with the sale and even more luck to prospective buyers. These seats are getting to be like 16" open lug Alpina Rims for the e9s.
