Hi does any know the flange to flange width of a 2002 differential?

The one I took out of a parts car is 9 3/8". There are also spacer blocks between the flange and the shafts, so I am not sure if they are all that way.

Thank you, I'm trying source a LSD for a 2002 project car, unfortunately there are not too many of the usual donor cars (E21) in New Zealand. My first thought was an E30 diff but they're about 282mm (11") wide so I'd have to shorten the drive shafts.

I have actually put an E30 diff into my 2002 rally car but I used the complete rear sub frame assembly - this increased the track by about 70mm. For the rally car this was fine has I have big flared guards but I want the new project to look stock.

I've measured up a Nissan Skyline diff - 315mm wide. A friend has both a Mitz EVO II and a Subaru Legacy rally car so I plan to drop by and measure up their rear diffs.

Note: The project car is minus it's diff hence the original question
