Ok...so a friend of mine...his dad used to be into 2002's. he has 2 sets of wheels he wants to sell me. The first set looks to be a 13x6..maybe 13x7, but its a kinda cool 5 spoke design (pics to come later). Offset unknown.

He also has another set of 13x7 wheels, 4 spoke, but the backspacing is 3.75 inches. Im pretty sure these wont fit under a stock bodied car, but should they fit under a turbo flared car?

Which should i get? Both? Oh, btw, my car will be painted blue soon.

Ok now for the pics...
This isnt an exact pic of the first rim...but its damn close.

Thats because you've probably gotten the "its period correct" and "the first set doesnt belong on a 2002" comments on FAQ. I know them all to well thats why I dont tend to post there anymore. To many purists.
The four spoke is just plain ugly. I wouldnt put them on my gokart let alone a 2002.

The four spoke ar American Racing Libre (or copies). They look good when the spokes are painted light gray. Really.

The other set look like they American Racing center caps and look like standard slotted "mags" from the 70's. They may also be known as Shelby slotted wheels, popular on 240Z's. More common on muscle cars, but I have seen them on 02s and they look OK with the proper offset (not sticking out from the fender lips), or under flares in a race car.

I have no idea about fitment of the ones you mention.

And yes, they are both period correct. To me, period correct wheels generally look better on an '02, than modern wheels due to the "period" style of the 02. But, to each his own.

Neither of them really do it for me... :(

IMO the first ones look like they belong on an American hot rod and the second ones even thought are period, arent the nicest looking wheels. (only my opinion though ;))

I much prefer the basketweaves you have on at the moment :D

nope, I haven't emailed you about them. I'm going to pick up a 2002 this week though, and they'd look pretty good on it :D
